Failed Payments Policy

In the event that a scheduled monthly renewal for continued Concierge services fails, there is a predetermined policy and process for how it is handled.

From time to time, these things happen. For whatever reason, sometimes credit cards get declined. When it happens, it is best to get the matter resolved as quickly as possible to ensure uninterrupted service.

In the event of a failed payment, the system will automatically re-attempt the charge on the following schedule:

  • After 12 hours.
  • After another 12 hours
  • After 24 hours (2 days later after the initial failure)
  • After 48 hours (4 days later after the initial failure)
  • After 72 hours (7 days later after the initial failure)

That is a total of 5 attempts to complete the renewal over the course of a week. If the matter isn’t resolved after that time, you will be sent an invoice which you can pay manually.

The Concierge Failed Payment Policy is…

  • If the amount due is still unpaid after 7 days, we will defer to your Anytime Credit balance automatically to cover costs. One credit will be deducted from your account balance for each site covered under Concierge. The credit will be considered payment, so your subscription renewal date will then be moved up one month.
  • If the invoice is then manually paid after a credit has already been deducted, we will put the credit(s) back on your account and revert the change.
  • There is a 30-day courtesy period for unpaid accounts. If you have no credits on account and the account remains unpaid for 30 days, we will begin site deactivation procedures and take the site offline.
  • During this entire time, I will be making all effort to get in touch with you. I take care of your website and the last thing I would ever want to do is get to the point where we have to turn your site off. Trust me, I’ll make every effort not to do that.

In the event of a failed renewal, I appreciate your timely response and handling the matter as soon as possible. Keep in mind, I definitely incur costs on my side to continue to provide Concierge services.
