Communication
The main email address for technical services is techservices@blogmarketingacademy.com. But, I definitely prefer it if you and I keep our communications to Basecamp as much as possible.
Response Time
I try to respond to messages as soon as I can. I’m hesitant to promise a timeframe because, in actual practice, the schedule changes all the time. My goal is to reply back to you within 24 hours during the week. It doesn’t mean I will have done whatever you ask for yet, but I’ll try to at least let you know I got it.
Realize that I don’t typically respond to emails over the weekend. I do monitor things, though, and if there is a real emergency (like your site is down) I will get back to you ASAP.
I also still run other aspects of Blog Marketing Academy. Which means I need to create content, write a newsletter, etc. So, in terms of response time, just realize that I’m not always dealing with clients. Sometimes, I have other things to do. ;)
When In Doubt, Communicate :)
In the course of involved projects or multiple moving parts, it can sometimes happen when information gets lost in translation or gets misunderstood. Or you’re left wondering what is happening. These gaps in knowledge are too easy to fill with assumptions.
Never feel bad about bugging me. 😇 It could be to followup and see where things stand. Or, to make sure things are understood. Missing communication or misunderstood communication does happen from time to time, but you and I need to work together to try to minimize that and have patience when it happens. Whenever there is a doubt, please reach out.
